Before you install
Is Becheloon safe to install?
Yes. The installer is built from our own code with FFmpeg (LGPL), it doesn't bundle anything else, and your videos never leave your computer. Each release has a published SHA-256 so you can check the file you got is exactly the one we built.
Why does Windows say "Windows protected your PC"?
Microsoft SmartScreen warns about any new app that hasn't been downloaded by many people yet. It is not a virus finding. Click More info, then Run anyway. If you'd rather check first, compare the SHA-256 above with the file you downloaded.
What's free?

Does it need the internet?
