What Becheloon is
Becheloon is a desktop application that checks a video against the requirements of Instagram Reels, YouTube and TikTok and, if you ask it to, produces a smaller upload-ready copy with a measured quality score. Everything runs on your computer. The app is provided by the individual seller shown on the receipt of your order ("we").
Free tier
Checking files and reading the report is free, with no limit and no account. Making upload-ready copies is free for your first 3 files. After a paid plan ends, the app gives you another 3 free copies.
Paid plans
- Plans are sold for 1, 3, 12 months. A month is 30 days; the plan runs from the day its code becomes active until the end of the last day.
- A plan unlocks unlimited upload-ready copies on one computer: each activation code is signed for the Device ID you send us. Reinstalling Windows or replacing hardware can change that ID; email us your order number and we move the plan to the new ID, within reason.
- There is no automatic renewal. Renewing early adds the new period after the current one ends; you never lose paid days.
- Codes are issued by a person on our side and emailed, usually within minutes and at most within 24 hours of payment. When you renew from inside the app the code installs itself.
- Prices are in US dollars. The price shown at checkout, after any discount code, is the price you pay; PayPal fees or blockchain network fees charged by your own provider are yours.
Acceptable use
One code, one computer. Do not share, resell or attempt to forge codes, and do not try to defeat the licence check. You may use the app for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, and you keep every right to the videos you process.
What we promise and what we don't
We do our best to keep the destination rules current and the quality measurement honest, and the app refuses to deliver a file that falls below the quality threshold you set. We cannot promise that any platform will accept, promote or display a file in a particular way; platforms change their rules without notice. The software is provided "as is", without warranty, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the plan in question.

Open-source components
Becheloon ships FFmpeg built under the LGPL v2.1 or later, as separate executables and libraries, unmodified. The licence text and a link to the corresponding source are included in the installer and on the About screen. Other components and their licences are listed there too.
